ANNUAL GALA

Each year we run an Annual Gala with all students performing in items created for the event. In 2021 the Annual Gala will be held in the final week of Term 3. This has moved from our usual December date for a variety of reasons.

– Casey Competitions would clash with concert preperation
– a better time of year for all family & friends
– Improved ticket sales
– smoother transition to the end of year
– Term 4 focus on exams for 2022 so students are better prepared

As you can see from our IMPORTANT DATES December has a focus on fun and a series of workshops to inspire and challenge our students. More details to come as the year continues.
The Annual Gala is a great opportunity for the students to showcase to their family and friends all the hard work they put in throughout the year.

Students will be required to hire costumes direct from our studio for performances at reasonable rates.

Our Annual Gala is held at FOREST HILL SECONDARY COLLEGE– Mahoneys Rd Forest Hill

TWO EXAM SESSIONS

As you know there has not been an exam session for 2020 as yet. We are working with Cecchtti to schedule an examination date in the week of Mon 23rd Mar – Apr 1st April. This exam will take place in our studio during the day.

The staff will be watching the students over the first few weeks to assess their readiness to sit an exam in March. Should your child not be ready please do not worry as there is a second session in Sept and your child will catch up later in the year. This decision will be made to ensure success for every child as 2020 was a hard year and we want to ensure the exam process is an enjoyable one.
